Online applications for university admission in the 2021/2022 academic year will begin from September 05.

University Grants Commission UGC Chairman Professor Sampath Amaratunga says that the call for applications for university admission for the 2021/2022 academic year will begin on September 5. The chairman further stated that 42,519 students are expected to be given the opportunity to enter the university.

“Students who have passed the A/L examination this year can apply for university entrance from September 5 to September 23. For that, the student campus handbook issued by the University Grants Commission will be given to the bookstores on September 02. The list of selected dealers is expected to be published in newspapers on Sunday. Application for university admission can be made online, and for that, the website of the University Grants Commission should be used. If any problem arises, it can be resolved by contacting the 1919 Government Information Center. Those officers have been trained in this regard.
