Sri Lanka Examination Commissioner General Amith Jayasundara said that the results of the A/L examination have not been released so far and he said that steps will be taken to release the results in the last week of August before August 31st. He mentioned that all efforts are being made to provide A-level results quickly and that this is a complicated process. He further said that steps will be taken to provide the results within the last week of August.

The posts published on social media stating that the results of the 2022 General Certificate of Advanced Level examination have been released are false and misleading. An inquiry was made FactCrescendo Sri Lanka to the Commissioner General of Examinations Amit Jayasundara to confirm.

Education Minister Susil Premajayantha had earlier conveyed that the long-awaited results of the 2022 high school exams would be unveiled in mid-August.
