Heart to Heart International, a renowned global humanitarian organization in the United States, donated their third consignment of medical supplies worth worth USD 7.27 million (LKR 2.7 billion) to the people of Sri Lanka. Total Heart to Heart International donations to date are USD 19.9 million. (LKR 7.4 billion).
The Embassy of Sri Lanka, Washington DC, facilitated a 3rd in kind donation of urgent medical aid from Heart to Heart International, Kansas, USA.
The Ambassador Mahinda Samarasinghe, Sri Lankan Ambassador to the U.S, Mexico and Trinidad & Tobago, during his meeting on 20 July 2022 with the CEO of Heart to Heart International, Kim Carroll, thanked and expressed his sincere gratitude to Heart to Heart International for the generous donations to be extended to the people of Sri Lanka at this critical juncture.
Thus far, Heart to Heart International has made a total contribution of USD 19.9 million. (LKR 7.4 billion) worth of urgent medical aid to Sri Lanka.
