Update – 4 police personnel arrested by CID over the shooting incident during the Rambukkana protest, remanded. The three police constables who were arrested by Police CID for the shooting incident during the Rambukkana protest has been remanded until 13 May by the Theldeniya Magistrate’s Court. Court issues order to arrest other police officers who shot the protesters during the Rambukkana demonstration. Former Kegalle SSP K.B. Keerthiratne who was arrested by CID over the shooting incident during the Rambukkana protest, has been remanded until 6 May by the Colombo Magistrate’s Court.
Former Kegalle SSP KB Keerthiratne and three Police Constables to produce court today. They have been arrested by the police over the shooting in Rambukkana that killed a protester. The arrest was made on orders issued by the Kegalle Magistrate’s Court.
