Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Southern, Central, Uva and North-Western provinces during the afternoon or night. Fairly heavy showers about 75mm can be expected at some places in Sabaragamuwa Province and in Kaluthara, Galle and Matara districts.
Several spells of showers may occur in Eastern province.
General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
