16 million Sri Lankans had received their first dose

According to COVID19 Vaccine rollout tracking, So far more than 16 million first doses of the coronavirus vaccines have been administered in Sri Lanka. More than 75% of the total population in Sri Lanka have been administered with at least 1 dose.

Over 13.8 million second doses of the coronavirus vaccines have been administered in Sri Lanka. More than 65% of the total population in Sri Lanka have been administered with two dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.

Health Officials say that approximately 85% of the country’s population over the age of 16 years has been vaccinated with both doses of Covid-19 vaccines. 

So far more than 4.7 million booster doses of the coronavirus vaccines have been administered in Sri Lanka.  In Sri Lanka only about 27% of the target population have taken the booster. (LankaXpress.com)
