Tuition teacher arrested in Kandy for photographing, sharing O/L English paper

A tuition class teacher has been arrested in Kandy over the incident of allegedly photographing the English Language question paper of the 2023 G.C.E. Ordinary Level examination and sharing it on WhatsApp during the exam recently.

In Kandy, a tuition class instructor has been apprehended by the Police Criminal Investigation Division (CID) for allegedly taking photos of the English Language question paper from the 2023 G.C.E. Ordinary Level examination and circulating it via WhatsApp during the recent exam on May 9th. The arrest was made in the Katugathota area. Police are currently conducting additional investigations into the matter.

Earlier this year, a similar incident occurred where the Agricultural Science subject in the GCE A/L examinations was also nullified due to a leaked question paper. Subsequently, fresh exam papers were issued to address the situation. (LankaXpress.com)
