For the 3rd consecutive day, Sri Lanka records over 900 COVID cases. Today Sri Lanka reported 961 coronavirus cases. This caseload is the highest daily cases after 3 months. Test positivity rate is also increasing and the 7-day average is 10.8%. According to the health officials, omicron variant is now becoming the dominant variant that causes most COVID cases in Sri Lanka.
