Showers or thundershowers will occur in the most parts of the island particularly in the evening or night.
Due to a low level atmospheric disturbance in the vicinity of Sri Lanka, showers or thundershowers will occur in the most parts of the island.
Fairly heavy showers above 75 mm can be expected at some places in Central, Uva, Northern, North-central, Sabaragamuwa and Eastern provinces.
General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
