Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe has left for the Maldives to attend the inauguration ceremony of President-elect Dr. Mohamed Muizzu. The event, set for November 17, marks Muizzu’s victory on September 30, where he secured nearly 54 percent of the votes, defeating incumbent President Ibrahim Solih.
The ceremony will officially usher in the new leadership for the Republic of Maldives.
