The Sri Lanka Ports Authority, Airports and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) Company and the Civil Aviation Authority jointly have contributed Rs. 2 billion to government’s Consolidated Fund.

Officials of the three state institutions officially handed over the check for 02 billion rupees for the government’s Consolidated Fund to President Ranil Wickramasinghe at the President’s Office today (19) afternoon, President’s Media Division said.

Accordingly, Sri Lanka Port Authority has contributed 01 billion rupees, and the Airports and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) Ltd. and the Civil Aviation Authority have offered 500 million rupees each for the Government Consolidated Fund.

Minister of Ports, Shipping and Aviation Services Nimal Siripala de Silva, Secretary of the Ministry of Finance Mahinda Siriwardena, Secretary of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Aviation Services K.D.S. Ruwanchandra, Chairman of Sri Lanka Ports Authority Keith D. Bernard, Chairman of Airports and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) Company Retired Major General G.A. Chandrasiri, Director General of Civil Aviation Authority P.A. Jayakantha and others participated in this event.
