About 40,000 MT of Petrol and Crude Oil vessels to be unloaded on May 9th Monday says Power and Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekara. He further says that limited Auto Diesel will be released to the market until the Norochcholai power plant is restored.
Update on Fuel Availability On an average 4000 MT of Auto Diesel and 2500MT of 92 Petrol is released daily. More 92 Petrol released. Limited Auto Diesel released until the Norochcholai power plant is restored. Further 40000 MT of Petrol and Crude Oil vessels to be unloaded Monday.
People across Sri Lanka are severely inconvenienced due to the shortage of diesel and Petrol. Many of the fuel stations were out of stock of diesel and Petrol.
