A shipment of 02 million eggs imported from India by the Sri Lanka State Trading Corporation (STC) will arrive in the island during the weekend.
Meanwhile, Special Commodity Levy on imported eggs reduced with effect from February 21,2023, from Rs.50 to Rs.1, for a period of three months.
