Examination Commissioner General LMD Dharmasena said that all arrangements in place to hold the Grade 5 Scholarship examination today December 18.
A special feature of this year examination is that the students will receive the Second question paper first.
The Examinations Department said that candidates will not be issued admission card this time. Instead the students have to place their signature on a attendance sheet.
The Commissioner General of Examinations further pointed out that it is the responsibility of the parents to prepare the necessary environment for the children to appear for the examination freely without putting them under unnecessary pressure.
The Grade 5 Scholarship exam will be held in 2,894 centers Island wide and 494 coordination centers have been established for that purpose. This year 334,698 students will be sitting for the exam.
