General Shantha H.S. Kottegoda (Rtd), has been appointed to the post of Chancellor of the Gen. Sir John Kotelawala Defence University by the President Ranil Wickremesinghe for a period of five years.
Secretary to the President E.M.S.B. Ekanayake in a letter to Gen. Kottegoda, had notified him of the nomination with immediate effect and requested acknowledgment and acceptance of the post.
