Sri Lanka Minister of Education Susil Premajayantha requested the people NOT to stage protests obstructing the exam.

” Even LTTE not obstructed the exams” he further said.

Minister requested the public to give priority to the staff engaged in examination duties in obtaining fuel.

The GCE Ordinary Level Examination which commenced today and will be held until the June 1st. 517,496 candidates are sitting for the exam at 3,844 examination centers island wide.
