A female doctor worked at Ratnapura hospital passed away at the Karapitiya Hospital due to COVID infection reports Lankadeepa News.
31 years-old Dr. Tharindi Dilshika was admitted to the Karapitiya Hospital on September 2nd and died while receiving treatment at the hospital on September 22.
So far 7 doctors have been died in Sri Lanka due to COVID, Earlier Dr. Gayan Danthanarayana, Dr. Ranath Padmashantha, Dr. Janan, Dr. Wasantha Jayasuriya. Dr. Sudath Bandara, Dr. Sayed Rafaideen and Dr. Tharindi Dilshika died due to COVID.
