According to COVID19 Vaccine rollout tracking, So far over 14.5 million first doses of the coronavirus vaccines have been administered in Sri Lanka. About 98% of the total population above age 20 in Sri Lanka have been administered with at least the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. Over 66% of the total population in Sri Lanka have been administered with at least 1 dose.

As of now about 80% of the country’s population above the age 20 has received the 2nd dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Over 11.8 million second doses of the coronavirus vaccines have been administered in Sri Lanka.

The President’s Media Division says that approximately 95% of the country’s population over the age of 30 years has been vaccinated with both doses of Covid-19 vaccines. 

Over 53% of the total population in Sri Lanka have been administered with two dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.

The vaccination of people in the age group of 20 to 30 years and the vaccination of children aged 12 to 19 years, who are with chronic diseases, is being carried out successfully. (LankaXpress.com)
