2021 Kandy Esala Perahera final Randoli Perahera will be held today August 22 at 6.44pm auspicious time in Kandy, Sri Dalada Maligawa. This year, Kandy Esala Perahera conducted without the participation of spectators due to COVID outbreak in Sri Lanka.
According to Government Information Department, about 100 elephants and about 5600 traditional artists including dancers to perform at the procession. Kandy Esala Perahera Procession consider as one of the world’s oldest religious festivals.
A day procession will be held on August 23. All processions will be held without spectators due to the COVID.
Kandy Esala Perahera processions will live telecast on PEO TV 20 / 150 HD, Dialog Tv 16 and via Sri Dalada Maligawa Facebook and Youtube Accounts.
