Sri Lanka is currently facing a huge foreign currency issue.
Central Bank requests all migrant Sri Lankans to use only legal official banking channels to sending their earnings to Sri Lanka.
As per the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, the country’s usable foreign reserves dropped to US$ 400 million in June 2022. When the current government took office in November 2019, the reserves were approximately US$7.5 billion.

The Speaker officially announced that Gotabaya Rajapaksa has RESIGNED as the President of Sri Lanka on July 15.
