Sri Lanka’s COVID death toll increased to 13,972 with 22 COVID19 deaths confirmed. According to the Director General of Health Services these deaths had taken place November 12. 

For the 2nd consecutive day, Sri Lanka records more than 20 COVID related deaths again.

Among the dead majority were males. Out of the 13,972 deaths, over 7790 are male while over 6170 are females.

The majority of the deaths are of the people in the over 60 years of age group. 76.5% percent deaths are above age 60 years group. 22.32 percent are 30-59 and 1.18% are below the age of 30.
