Showers may occur at a few places in Southern province and in Ratnapura and Kalutara districts in the evening or night, says the Meteorology Department.
Mainly dry weather will prevail in the other areas of the island, it said.
Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in Galle and Matara districts during the morning.
