All Share Price Index (ASPI) of the Colombo Stock Exchange has recorded a massive gain of 633.69 points to close at 10,076.64 points at the end of trading today July 4th. This is an increase of 6.71 percent. According to reports, the massive gain was recorded as a result of increased investor interest following Domestic Debt Restructuring.

The All Share Price Index (ASPI) of the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) today recorded the second highest single day points gain in history, a gain of 633 points.

Meanwhile the S&P SL20 index has also gone up by 279.17 points (10.29%) to close at 2992.82 points today.  Today’s total turnover was recorded as Rs. 7.41 billion while the share volume was over 335 million.
