The Moragahahena Police received a message from the Child Protection Authority regarding the sexual abuse of a 15-year-old student studying in the grade 10 of a school in the Olaboduwa area of the Moragahahena Police division. It is reported that this female teacher sexually abused the student.
Accordingly, Panadura Division Children and Women Bureau officers investigated the incident and arrested the suspected teacher on December 1 and presented her to the Moragahahena Police.
The suspect was a forty-two-year-old resident of Millawa area. The suspect has been remanded until the December 6th after being produced before the Horana Magistrate’s Court.
