7 new Political Parties

The Election Commission has acknowledged that 7 new parties Recognized as Political Parties in Sri Lanka.

1. United Congress Party
2. Dewana Parapura
3. Sri Lankawe Samaja Prajathanthrawadi Pakshaya
4. Deshapremi Eksath Jathika Pakshaya
5. Bahujana Wiyath Peramuna
6. Eros Democratic Front
7. Democratic People’s Congress

So far, more than 80 political parties have registered in Sri Lanka.
