Update – Tense situation reported at the protest in Nawinna where people have blocked the road demanding LP Gas.
Traffic reports along High Level Road. High Level Road (bus route 138) blocked at Nawinna by protestors demanding for LP gas. Currently Sri Lanka is experiencing both Litro and Laugfs gas shortage in the market. Long queues report at Gas Filling Stations island-wide.
Yesterday there were protests in Mahabage junction, Pelawatta Junction and Armour Street demanding gas.
