Sudden power cut reports several parts of Sri Lanka including Colombo, Galle, Piliyandala, Panadura, Horana, Embilipitiya, Wattala and Dehiwala. It is unclear what has caused the exact issue but according to CEB sources High-Tension HT line failure is the reason for sudden power cut. CEB is gradually restoring the power.
Meanwhile MET department issued advisory for heavy rains and strong winds today.
