According to Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority stats over 82,000 tourists have arrived in Sri Lanka in the first month of this year.
During the January month, most of the tourists have come to Sri Lanka from the Russian Federation, India and Ukraine. Accordingly 13,478 tourists have arrived in Sri Lanka from the Russian Federation, 11,751 from India and 7774 from Ukraine during the January month.
During 2021, about 194,495 tourists have visited Sri Lanka.
In addition to the Russian, India and Ukraine, the highest number of tourists have visited Sri Lanka in the last 4 weeks from the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Poland, Australia and Maldives.
