Evening showers likely in some areas, dry weather expected elsewhere

Showers or thundershowers may occur at several places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Southern and Central provinces in the evening or at night.

However, mainly dry weather will prevail elsewhere on the island.

Misty conditions can be expected in parts of Sabaragamuwa, Central and Uva provinces and Galle and Matara districts in the morning.

Sea areas:

Mainly fair weather will prevail in the sea areas around the island.

Winds will be easterly or variable in direction and wind speed will be 20-30 kmph.

Sea areas around the island will be slight to moderate.
