An Automated Appointment Booking System (Interactive Voice Response – IVR) and a website to reserve a date and time to obtain department services from the DMT launched from October 29th.

Department of Motor Traffic introduces an Automated Appointment Reservation System and a website to enable customers to reserve a date and time from October 29th onwards to obtain services from the DMT offices across the country.

Customers should obtain the services of department by making an appointment via calling the following automated telephone number relevant to the district that they are planning to obtain services or via the https://dmtappointments.dmt.gov.lk  website throughout the day. Due to the prevailing Covid19 situation, the Department of Motor Traffic will serve only the customers who have already reserved an appointment.

DMT says that the previous telephone number 011 2677877 which was used to reserve an appointment to obtain services from Narahenpita and Werahera offices will NOT be used anymore from 29th October 2021 onwards.
