Sri Lanka’s Test Positivity Rate increased to 34%

According to Institute for Health Policy IHP data, Sri Lanka’s “Test Positivity Rate” is increasing further. Test positivity (using PCR tests) shows as 33% while seven day average shows as 34%. In July first week the rate was about 10%. According to the data reported by the IHP, this is the highest Test Positivity Rate since the pandemic began last March.

Seven day average of PCR tests indicate as about 15,000.

According to the data reported by the Epidemiology Unit, active cases count shows as 54,340.
