Sri Lanka today (September 8th) records the lowest single-day coronavirus cases after a month as only 2917 COVID cases reported including 2 overseas returnees cases.
Sri Lanka conducted only 10,395 PCR tests. According to official stats Sri Lanka’s weekly average of PCR tests count show about 12,000 per day. Test positivity rate has increased up to 31%.
Sri Lanka today records 2917 coronavirus cases. Sri Lanka has reported 474,780 COVID-19 cases out of which 389,969 patients have recovered and been discharged from hospitals. Meanwhile the active patient count has increased up tp 74,122. A total of 10,689 deaths have been reported from the virus.
