Showers Expected Across Most Areas After 1 PM

Showers or thundershowers are expected in several parts of Sri Lanka after 1.00 p.m., with fairly heavy rainfall exceeding 75 mm possible in parts of the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Uva, North Western, Southern and North Central provinces.

The public is advised to take precautions against temporary strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.

Misty conditions are also expected in some areas of the Central, Sabaragamuwa and Uva provinces during the early morning.
