Sri Lanka records the lowest single-day coronavirus deaths after 140 days as only 23 COVID related deaths reported. 390 coronavirus related deaths have been reported in Sri Lanka during October 1 to 10.
According to the Director General of Health Services, 23 deaths had taken place October 10 and the total number of fatalities in Sri Lanka increased to 13,354.
The majority of the deaths are of the people in the over 60 years of age group. 76% percent deaths are above age 60 years group. 22 percent are 30-59 and 1.16% are below the age of 30.
