For the fifth consecutive day, Sri Lanka records over 1000 COVID cases. Today Sri Lanka reported 1181 coronavirus cases. This caseload is the highest daily cases after about 4 months.
More than 7,500 COVID cases have been reported in Sri Lanka within the last 7 days. The number of Covid-19 cases reported within the last 7 days listed as 7,555.
Sri Lanka is currently doing about 8700 PCR tests daily. Test positivity rate is also increasing and the 7-day average is about 12%.
Sri Lanka’s active COVID patients count passed 19,000 mark again. According to the data reported by the Epidemiology Unit, active cases count shows as 19,364.
