Several spells of showers will occur in Northern, Eastern and North-central provinces and in Matale district, says the Meteorology Department.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at a few places in Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in Galle, Matara, Kandy and Nuwara-Eliya districts after 2.00 p.m.
Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Southern provinces in the morning.
The public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
