According to some social media reports, the Prime Minister is in a critical condition and has been admitted to a private hospital. However, the Prime Minister said that these statements were untrue.
MP Namal Rajapaksa also states that the rumors circulating that Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa has passed away and that he has been admitted to the ICU are FALSE.
