Power generation at Kerawalapitiya thermal power plant has commenced adding 270 MW of power to the national grid this morning.
Recently, Power generation at the Kerawalapitiya power plant temporarily stopped due to lack of fuel.
Meanwhile following fuel quantities are expected to be received for power generation.

April 5 / 6 – 10MT diesel
April 6 / 7 – 30,000MT furnace oil
