Attorney at law Hejaaz Hizbullah leaves the Puttalam High Court after completing bail conditions. He was released after 21 months in detention.
On February 7, Court of Appeal directed to grant bail to Attorney at law Hejaaz Hizbullah over the Easter Sunday case.
On January 28th, The Puttalam High Court judge has refused the bail order as it is not under her jurisdiction, despite the Attorney General consenting to bail.
Hejaaz Hizbullah was arrested on 2020 April 14 and was under detention. After 10 months of detention at the Police CID, he was produced before a Magistrate and remanded.
