Minor Flood Alert for low line areas of Gin Ganga River

There is a possibility of occurring a Minor Flood in low line areas of Gin Ganga in Welivitiya Divithura, Baddegama, Kotapola, Hikkaduwa, Niyagama, Neluwa, Tawalama, Akmeemana, Nagoda, Elpitiya,Bope Poddala, Thelikada and Galle Four Gravets D/S within next 24 hours. People living in those areas advised to be vigilant in this regard.

Meanwhile Department of Meteorology predicts heavy showers above 100 mm may occur at some places in Galle and Matara districts.
