Colombo – The Embassy of France in Colombo has extended its congratulations to Sri Lanka’s President Anura Kumara Dissanayake following his party’s resounding victory in the November 14 Parliamentary Election.

The National People’s Power (NPP), led by President Dissanayake, achieved a historic victory, securing a two-thirds majority with 159 seats in Parliament. This decisive win signals a transformative period in Sri Lankan politics, as the NPP prepares to implement significant reforms and usher in a new era of governance.
