Weather Forecast for February 5

Department of Meteorology – Sri Lank says that showers or thunder showers will occur at a few places in Nuwara-Eliya, Ratnapura, Galle and Matara districts during the evening. Mainly fair weather will prevail elsewhere over the island.

Expect over 30c̊ temperature at most places. Anuradhapura 33, Batticaloa 30, Colombo 32, Galle 31, Jaffna 31, Kandy 32, Ratnapura 35, Trincomalee 31 and Mannar 32 c̊ .

Drink more water to keep body cool and to avoid Dehydration. General recommendation for adults is to drink at least 2 litres of water per day.

Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, North- Central and North-Western provinces and in Galle and Matara districts during the morning. (LankaXpress.com )
