State Minister of Education, Aravind Kumar, has indicated that the release of the much-anticipated results for the 2022 Advance Level (A/L) examinations may experience a further delay. The State Minister assured the students that the results will be made available prior to September 10, 2023.

The news comes after earlier statements from Sri Lanka’s Examination Commissioner General, Amith Jayasundara, who initially aimed to unveil the results during the final week of August. A subsequent update from Education Minister Susil Premajayantha had previously conveyed the possibility of results being released in mid-August.

The delay in the release of the A/L exam results has sparked concerns and curiosity among students, parents, and educators alike.

Releasing A/L Exam results already delayed due to the delay of evaluation of the A-Level answer sheets. The A/L Exam answer sheets evaluation was delayed by two months due to the strike action taken by the university teachers demanding to tax relax.

Results will be released to examination department official websites and can be get via https://www.doenets.lk/examresults website or https://www.exams.gov.lk/examresults website.
