All Island Three wheel owners union decides to reduce the fare charged for the 2nd kilometre to Rs.80 from June 2. This is after considering the fuel price reduction and increase in fuel quota.

Registered three-wheelers receive 22 litres per week. Earlier, the three-wheeler fare for the first kilometre was Rs. 100 and Rs.90 for the second kilometre.

The price of 92 Octane Petrol has been reduced by Rs. 15 per litre from June 1. New price is Rs. 318.
