Sri Lanka won ICC T20 World Cup match against Ireland by 70 runs and qualified for the Super 12 round. Ireland won the toss and decided to bowl first. Sri Lanka made 171/7 after 20 overs. Wanindu Hasaranga made 71 runs while Pathum Nissanka made 61. Ireland all out for 101.
Sri Lanka’s second match of the ICC T20 World Cup will be against Ireland on October 20 at 7.30pm IST. Third match will be against Netherlands on October 22. Sri Lanka is in Group A with Ireland, Netherlands and Namibia.
