Major General Lasantha Rodrigo has been appointed as the 25th Commander of the Sri Lanka Army, as announced by the Ministry of Defence. He succeeds Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu, who served as the 24th Commander of the Army.
Major General Rodrigo brings with him extensive experience and leadership, having held several key positions during his distinguished military career.
