China’s People’s Liberation Army donated 300,000 Sinopharm vaccines to Sri Lankan Forces

People’s Liberation Army (PLA) of China has donated 300,000 doses of Sinopharm vaccines to Sri Lankan military, according to a tweet from official twitter account of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Colombo.

Based on the longstanding friendship & firmest solidarity between 🇨🇳🇱🇰 and at the request of Sri Lankan military, 300,000 doses of #Sinopharm #COVID19 vaccines have been gifted by the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) and will be airlifted to Colombo on 28 August. pic.twitter.com/2yB5ys0X1G

According to the tweet, vaccines are scheduled to arrive on August 28.
