Calling applications for the year 2024 will begin on February 15th, according to the State Finance Ministry. Accordingly, applications will be called for the second phase of the “Aswesuma” welfare benefits programme.

Aswesuma second stage applications accepting from today
The government is carrying out a comprehensive review of the welfare benefit scheme’s first phase, before the second phase is launched. The issues that emerged during the implementation of the first phase and also the suggestions presented by various parties will be considered during this review.
December instalment for more than 1.4 million beneficiaries has already been disbursed. The government aims to extend these benefits to a total of 2 million people.
