Conducting coaching classes or tuition classes targeting the 2022 (2023) GCE Advanced Level (A/L) Examination will be prohibited from midnight today (Jan17), the Department of Examinations said.
Examinations Commissioner General J.M.C. Amith Jayasundara said organising, conducting subject-oriented lectures, seminars or classes, printing exam-oriented papers, distribution and giving publicity via electronic media, posters and banners providing similar questions, prohibited for five days prior to the examinations. The examination will begin on Jan. 23 and end on February 17, 2023.
“If a person or an institution violated the regulation, complaints could be lodged at the nearest Police Station, the Examinations Department or to the following numbers,” he said.
