A woman has been arrested by the Panadura North Police on charges of defrauding Rs. 4.2 million from several persons by falsely promising foreign job opportunities.
Police said six complaints have been filed before the Panadura North Police against the suspect.
The arrested individual, a 46-year-old resident of Keselwatta, was taken into custody in Panadura.
